Durisol UK manufactures reinforced wall formwork systems made from Durisol, a cement bonded, recycled wood material with thermal, acoustic and fire protection properties. Wall form units are offered as interlocking modular blocks, which are dry stacked without mortar, and filled with concrete and reinforcing steel to create a strong and durable construction. Wall form units are available in a variety of widths and insulation configurations to create bespoke systems.
Durisol is a cement bonded wood fibre material which uses recycled wood from post industrial sources such as truss manufacturers and planar shavings from mills. The company uses only clean, softwood lumber that is otherwise sent to landfill. The wood is processed, rendering it completely inert, and then combined with standard Portland cement and water.
Durisol is environmentally safe and is fully recyclable.
