The Modern Masonry Alliance passionately believe that communities deserve homes which are safe, durable and adaptable. Our members supply the construction method of choice for over 85% of the UK housing industry. This means cement, bricks, blocks, stone and mortars - for foundations, floors and walls.
We encorage innovative development in the masonry sector, including improving quality and driving up productivity to help meet the Modern Methods of Construction agenda. We are committed to delivering sustainable and attractive homes and buildings and know that masonry delivers quieter, more secure and more robust homes - faster, cheaper and longer-lasting.
The MMA will help communities to have comfortable, safe and desirable homes to enrich the lives of this generation and those which follow. The MMA have an ongoing Technical Committee focusing on innovation and solutions for the Code for Sustainable Homes. A Futures Group working with the HBF towards the Zero Carbon by 2016 target continues to make great progress.
