Trunk are a young, innovative and inspirational furniture company. We design and hand make bespoke furniture from environmentally friendly reclaimed wood and salvage.
Our showroom, workshops and timber yard are now based at Earth Balance in Northumberland, a private eco business settlement boasting its own sources of renewable energy and organically managed environment. This move complements our ethos to reclaim, reuse and recycle.
We offer quality craftsmanship and a personal approach to each order, welcoming our customers input. We design one-off pieces for every room in the house and garden, eclectic ‘un-fitted’ kitchens being our speciality.
At Trunk we celebrate character and age, promoting and respecting the provenance of our timber. Wherever possible we incorporate the materials unique history into the design process of our furniture. ‘Lived–in’ is a term often used to describe our style – we take that as a compliment!
