Bell & Webster Concrete Limited have developed a “Fast Build” method of constructing accommodation units for many varied projects. The method of construction was developed to service the rooms market, suitable for Hotels, Student Accommodation, Key Worker, MOD Single Living (Barracks) and general Bedroom Accommodation Blocks.
Fast Build rooms are constructed using factory engineered concrete components; (Cross Wall Construction) each designed and manufactured to suit individual projects, being concrete, Fast Build rooms offer excellent fire performance, are durable, have good acoustic values, complying to Part “E”, virtually maintenance free and are very quick to erect offering the client a Fast Build room occupancy programme.
The components comprise party walls, floors and the inner skin of the external wall. All units are manufactured to tolerances well within those permissible deviations in BS8110. Walls are finished to type “C” of BS 8110 and are delivered to site ready for final preparation and decoration either wallpaper or emulsion, eliminating the requirement for wet trades.
