Civil Works Completed on Methil Docks

DCT Renewable Energy Projects are delighted to announce the successful completion of the civil engineering works associated with their Balance of Plant Contract on Methil Docks.

The project for The Hydrogen Office Limited involves all the civil and electrical infrastructure for the erection of a 750kW Wind Turbine Generator which is used to power a new Hydrogen Fuel System.

DCT have recently completed the civil engineering works associated with the project which invlolved the installation of 8 nr 1200mm diameter piles, a 2m deep pit excavation on the famous Methil Docks and finally the steel fixing and pouring of a 100m3 RC foundation base.

Electrical works are on-going and are due to be completed by early September 2010.
