New Contracts For Offshore Marine Management

Offshore Marine Management (OMM) will be performing survey inspection and remdeial works for the Burbo Bank and Barrow offshore wind farms. Additionally, the company has been awarded a contract to do cable surveys for DONG Energy, Burbo Bank wind farm developer.

Barrow wind farm will require subsea inspection of the entire 27 km export cable, which connects Heysham to the wind farm, but also any remedial work that may need to be done, including diving, jetting and mattressing. The Burbo Bank wind farm needs subsea inspection of about 8.6 km of export cable from Wallasey to the wind farm, and another 500 m of inter array cable. All works are to be completed by the end of June this year. Cables are lying on the seafloor at depths ranging from 5 to 30 meters.
